The Football League has agreed a partnership with
concierge betting service Bet Butler, which will see the company become
the 'Official Betting and Gaming Provider of The Football League’ in a
two-year deal.
The sponsorship agreement will see a
share of the money bet on Football League matches go towards
participating clubs, which means over 80 teams will benefit when a fan
places a bet.
Bet Butler offers fans the best available odds from more than 60 different bookmakers.
Football
League chief commercial officer, Richard Heaselgrave said: ‘This is a
really innovative partnership that delivers a fantastic win-win
situation for supporters. They will get the best odds in the
marketplace and their club will benefit directly from their betting
activity.’
Chris Bell, chairman of Bet Butler, added:
‘I am delighted by this deal that benefits both football league clubs
and supporters. It is a marvellous endorsement of our unique technology
which will offer the fans the best available price, but also deliver an
important revenue stream for their club.’
